Bal Bigyan:
This is a lower secondary school in Patan and has 215 children from the local Dalit and migrant worker families. They are
housed in a well built purpose made building with a playground and water & toilet facilities

Bal Kalyan: A lower secondary school in the Balaju district with most of the 205 children
from the families occupying the shanty town on the banks of the river Bagmati based in a brick building put up by the
local shanty community. No playground but do have pumped water.

Kesh Chandra: A junior
school situated in Itumbahal with the 105 children from the local street and shop worker families. This school do not own
the building and are under constant threat of eviction. They have no water and no toilets

Shree Shramik: A junior
school in Patan with 110 children from Dalit, migrant worker and Jyapu families. Our poorest school with packed earth floors
in a loaned building, no running water and an open toilet next to a classroom on the ground floor.

Himalaya School: A secondary
school in central Kathmandu with 460 children with 65 from the Dalit families which we support. The Head teacher has tried
to amalgamate lower cast children into his school and deserves our support.
