Our core programme supports five of the poorest schools in Nepal by providing up to 600 pupils with:
   - exercise books
   - school bags
   - textbooks

We are launching an appeal to build a capital sum of £40,000 which will be invested with our existing fund to double our monthly income. One of our goals is to promote liaison between schools in the UK and in Nepal. By doing this we hope that both parties will benefit from the link through learning about each other’s countries and people.
The first UK school to do this is Haverigg Primary School in Cumbria who have introduced Nepal studies into their curriculum a well as adopting one of our poorest schools in Kathmandu for direct communication.
