Since 2007 Nepal Schools Aid has developed from it's early beginnings as a
"material aid donor" to a number of schools in Kathmandu, into being an Academy for teacher training
for ANY teacher from ANY community or government school in the city.
Supported by UK education
experts and a wide range of UK donors we have created a teacher development programme which is based on
our own researched framework of Quality Education and which delivers techniques and skills essential to the provision
of child centred learning. You can read about our definitions in these two important areas by clicking on
the download links on the left.
Our programme is in three stages, Introduction,
Foundation, Advanced, and can be attended by any teacher whose school registers with us to receive and
implement child centred learning techniques. Visit our Academy page via the link above then use the Contact
page to inform us of your interest.
If you are in the UK we need support in
our quest to influence Nepal's Ministry of Education to STOP exclusively building schools and to instead
focus on developing the system of education in the schools they already have. You can help us financially or intellectually.
If you are in Nepal come on our programmes or spread the word to all. Join us!
We are most grateful to all our donors and supporters in the UK, individuals, corporates, and
schools who have made our work possible.
